    1. What did you learn?
      1. I learned that Pluto is now a dwarf planet for the main reason of Pluto not clearing the neighborhood which means it does not have gravitational dominance around their orbit.
    2. What was most helpful?
      1. The acronym to remember the order of the planets, My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Nutella, was very helpful.
    3. What do you need more information on?
      1. The Plane of the Ecliptic and the Nebula are still a little confusing to me.

    1. None.

Week 1 How do the phases of the moon occur? The moon lights up at night because of how the sun shines on it as it orbits so different parts light up at different times depending on where it is in orbit.  Does not spin around earth consistently. Not on same plan, not in straight circle. We see sunlights reflection. Takes 28ish days to get around the Earth so every 28 days you see a different phase.  What causes seasons? Because the Earth is tilted, certain parts of the Earth get more sunlight at different parts of the year. I was unsure of why scientists believe Mars is livable and similar to Earth, but the textbook clarified that there are satelites and rovers on Mars to find out this information.
